Read more about Spiritual Direction
Some people enter spiritual direction because they have sensed an inner emptiness, a void unfilled by their worldly achievements, and because they intuit that this void is a "God-shaped" space. Others search out direction because they are troubled by an unfocused feeling of vocation, because the particular life-path they have chosen has ceased to satisfy, or perhaps because they wish to examine the route ahead after suffering a grievous personal loss. For a large number of people, arrival at the middle years, when the glamour of the career has dimmed and the children are grown and gone, simply triggers a Spirit-led search for renewed meaning and purpose in life.
